Peer Support is the process by which like-minded individuals with similar experience encourage and assist each other to continue growing. Peer support is based on the concept that those who have experienced mental health issues are in the best position to pass on knowledge gained through it, and is done in an atmosphere of trust between peers.
In every individual’s life, there comes a time when sharing our experiences becomes a vital part of our well-being. Having recognized the value of knowing that we are not alone in our journey, we seek the opportunity to share this knowledge with others.
Today and Tomorrow, Too (TaTT) offers individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and experiences that will support them as they support others.
For more information, see the “Today…and Tomorrow Too!” application.
